Polki is divided into three parts broadly and they are-
Kilwas Polki
They have a flat base with a gently domed top, displaying a bright white hue. Though thinner in form, these are preferred option if you’re looking for budget friendly Polki jewellery.
Syndicate Polki
They are considered the finest grade and best quality Polki. It is prized for its exceptional clarity, natural shine, and smooth surface. They have a brownish shade.
Zimbabwe Polki
Zimbabwe Polki is sourced from Zimbabwe and offers a slightly less clarity level. It carries a soft golden tint and internal inclusions that give it a subtle warmth.
CVD Polki (Chemical Vapor Deposition)
These are also called ‘Lab Grown Polki’ and have similar look and properties to natural polki, but are less expensive.
English Polki
This is comparatively more refined, shinier and symmetrical than normal polki and usually contains 24 facets.
Rose Cut Diamonds
They have a dome shape on the top and a flat shape on the bottom. It has 21 facets and is widely accepted in the Indian Jewellery market
